On the other hand, not having had a man available could make it interesting for a few months... Then, the child support starts...:moon:

I still check in once in awhile. Been busy working full time and going to school. My daughter got married last month and I'm going to be a grandmother in December. So yeah, real life takes up most of my time.

Besides I don't see much new here, same people having the same arguments with a few new hats in the ring. YAAAWWWNNNN!!!!!

For cryin' out loud, you're one of the ones that made this board ring. You go silent, and the rest of us go to sleep.

Aw, Thanks Windy! Unfortunately unless they add another 8 hours to the day I can't figure out how not to run out of time before I go back to work the next afternoon. As a matter of fact I'm off today but just got a call that I have to go in at 7:00pm for a few hours to conduct some additional training. I am currently the lead trainer and working on my certification as a third party tester for Illinois CDL tests. I'm also the Dispatch Supervisor. Someday I'll learn to say no when they ask me to "fill in" because what I think is going to be a temporary thing ends up being permanent. :eek1: And I do still fill in as a driver when needed. But I need the job until I finish school.

Being back in College is kicking my ass! I have a paper due every week and it's been so long since I had to write formal papers it takes me forever. But I am determined to finally finish my Masters in elementary and special education. My emphasis is on special ed, specifically autistic children.

My views on politics and religion are pretty well documented on this forum and those seem to be the most heated debates on here (as in real life). Whether anyone agrees or disagrees with me is irrelevant. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I can only hope that those opinions are based on personal research, rather than just parroting something you've heard. Think of it as trying on jeans until you find the ones that make your butt look good. :p And remember what worked for you 10 years ago, might not fit anymore. :moon:

I can appreciate the writing formal papers. My wife went back to school a few years back. She graduated her course with an "A" average across the board. She also did not hold down any job while doing that.

Working with autistic children, I sure hope you thrive on challenges, and GOD bless you.

Good for your wife! In a way I feel like I'm going backwards. Most of my business writing is on the technical side and uses lots of bullet points rather than long drawn out formal writing.

Of course I love challenges, life would be boring without them. But working with these kids is so rewarding.
