RaiderNation ...
but women are like fine wine... they get better with age I see someone knows what their talking about .... The younger kids .... {hot 21yr } ... shouldn't knock us ... an older woman knows what she wants and strives to take care of their mate. We make very good co-drivers because we don't see the need to strut our stuff to prove a point with all the hot shot drivers out there. ... So don't knock us .... once you date an older woman you won't go back to the younger ones 8) |
hey hey hey i'm not knocking anyone.. i love older women... i even dated one once.. yup, she was 6 months older than me! :P
seriously... gotta love women with more experience (life experience that is)... |

"The true man wants two things: danger and play. For that reason he wants woman, the most dangerous plaything."
-Friedrich Nietzsche |
I have read responses to this post, and do not want this post to take a wrong turn (sort of speak). While it maybe flattering for a much younger man to say Hello.
I will be honest, and state that I do not have any interest in a much younger man. I am older wiser, know who I am, and know the kind of man I would want to get to know. A man who is within 6 years of my age (which currently is 44 yrs. old), and who has never been married, doesn't have children, isn't a sports fan, is not religious, doesn't drink, is an independent in their political views, has an interest in the natural world, animals (horses, and dogs are a plus), enjoys travel, seeing new places, trying new things, enjoys a relatively quiet lifestyle, and prefers to live in the countryside. A gentle nature, able, and willing to communicate, and has hobbies, and interests relating to the arts, or, skilled crafts, or, nature. Enjoys the outdoors, serenity, and most of all is interested in a woman to be their best friend, and equal partner. If you enjoy cooking that is a plus as well. I'm still on the fence here as to whether I truly want a man in my life in terms of a life long relationship. I do have friends that are male that I've known for most of my life, and it is nice to spend time hanging out with them. But, a more serious relationship is a different story. That is why I would rather be up front, and honest about the type of man I would consider getting to know. A good man who is truly interested in a good woman. Not asking for to much am I ( hahaha )...  If you think your willing to take a chance, and get to know me. I look forward to hearing from you. |
Hey, Red Raven
I think I could qualify except for a few minor things....... I've been married twice..(present wife of 28 years) I like cats, dogs well.... not so much.... I might be a little too old for you..(I'm 67) I'm retired so I don't do a whole hell of a lot.... I like the outdoors as seen through my picture window... If you could live with these minor things, we could be a perfect match.. :D Just kidding of course... |

I kinda thought this post was a joke for the longest time. Why don't you try a singles site? A Man Wanted post in the midst of talking about tire chains, transmissions and training is a bit odd.
|
I found an interesting Website, no shortage of reading...
He's looking for a new friend, eventually you'll find a pic of him shaved, with a haircut... Looking for a northern girl... If you don't find him handsom, at least he's handy. http://www.kingofobsolete.ca/ |
Never been married, and doesn't have children? A guy in his 40's???
Are you looking for a guy with a really low sperm count? Maybe a priest?? Are you thinking you want to play Will and Grace or something??? |

This Tread it a Big Joke..I don't think this women is living in the real world.. but that My opinion.. Good luck! |
To marry and be loved by a trucker-- A woman needs to be able to drive the truck, repair the truck, wash the truck, book loads, invoice loads, do fuel taxes, do all other taxes, keep track of all paperwork, recruit drivers, cook dinner, and be her man's kitten.
She must be sincere in these things, not just doing them to get married then quit doing all of those things above once she has the diamonds on her finger. |

Yeah! what they said. ^ AMEN In some cases you have to help UNLOAD the stupid truck. Why in the world would ANYBODY want to marry a trucker? Are you wanting to add some grey hair and wrinkles to your style? You'll work like a dog and still be broke all the time! Forget the diamond ring, hun. You'll be lucky to get an onion ring! LOL RUN!! |
Delete. Not ready for prime time yet!

I keep comng back to this thread, and it keeps coming back to ME!
SO much disinformation, and so many "dreams!" Marrying a trucker is not so different than marrying anyone else! If someone.... like the O.P...... puts TOO many "restrictions" on what they WILL accept, they are asking for failure. People are individuals.... not "virtual" recreations of a man or woman! Not ALL women have perfect curves, and not ALL men are dedicated viewers of "The VIEW!" To ASK for a man who doesn't like sports, is to ask for a woman! Personally..... "I" am not the biggest sports fan..... but, I have a FEW that I like to follow when I CAN! The O.P. exceeded her RIGHT of choice, when she asked for someone who liked milking COWS! ONLY a "plastic" person.... one concerned only with THEIR life..... puts caveats on the career, or intellectual interests, of the man she would LIKE to meet! MY parents are QUITE different, yet they've been happily married ALL MY LIFE! How MANY of you can say the same? Divorce is a reality of the current state of American Life.... as are "previous children!" Get OVER it... and learn to deal with it! I don't know what it's like to marry a trucker..... I haven't found a woman yet who isn't SO "self-centered" as to rule this out! But then.... I'm not looking! But, I believe my MOTHER would have been such a woman! SHE married a Preacher.... without knowing where she would live, or how often she would see him! They just don't MAKE women like that anymore! ONE thing I know is this..... it is not conducive to "shop" for the type of man (or woman) you WOULD like to marry! The MORE we "shop," the pickier we get! The MORE it become about "US" and the LESS it becomes about THEM.... even THO we think our requirements are ABOUT them! Please don't confuse "truckers" with O/O's!!! Although, you might choose one who IS.... you also might choose one who DOESN'T require you to be an accountant and business manager! He JUST might ONLY need you to be a homebuilder and a MATE willing to sacrifice a bit for NOW, for a better future! It is TRUE that MANY "truckers" are on the road for long periods of time. So... what does it MATTER if he watches SPORTS while he's gone, instead of SHORTS?! What MATTERS, is what he CARES about while he is HOME! And THAT..... will depend much MORE on what kind of woman YOU ARE! I will NOT address drinking, drugs or smoking. THAT is something that only YOU can decide. But, I know of MANY successful relationships where, in moderation, these things were tolerated! However, notwithstanding religious or moral beliefs and "necessities," putting RESTRICTIONS on the man/woman you will fall in love with, is to usurp the blessings of GOD and the ANGELS! It is to deflect the arrows of Cupid, and to deny and CONTROL that mystical feeling that IS "love!" Trust me folks.... I KNOW what it is to OVER-ANALYZE a relationship..... and in doing so..... I've missed out on SEVERAL relationships that could have been lifelong JOY! A "marriage" by defintion is a JOINING of "separate" parts into a single WHOLE! It takes work.... sure... but NOTHING good is gained without effort! Working towards a "perfect union" requires sacrifice that makes EACH of us a better person! Anything that comes too easily is detrimental to our OWN self growth! [Witness a woman abuser who finds a woman who will let him continue in his depravity!] And another thing.... the OLDER we get, the HARDER it is to FIND such a person! NOT because they aren't OUT there! But, because like US.... THEY are getting "locked into" their expectations! Two pillars of stone, with only their "expectations" between them! Pillars of stone live FOREVER, with only minor loss of mass to the elements! PEOPLE don't live that long! Anyone OVER 45 is litterally "half dead!" If you haven't found that "perfect mate" by NOW.... YOU might be the problem!  Time is running out! IF you doubt me...... take a day to visit a "retirement home!" Ask the "survivors" what they thought about their lifelong mates who have preceded them. I guarantee that every ONE of them will tell you of every VICE they hated about their spouses..... AND how much they loved them anyway, and how their lives are incomplete without them! THEN, they will tell you how they have acquired the strength to carry on without them! Then, look over there..... in the corner..... at the one who is withdrawn and all but 'lifeless." THAT will be the one who has no family, no legacy, and no memories of LOVE in their life! THAT would/might be ME! HOW to marry a Trucker??? Like you would anyone ELSE! With RESPECT and committment.... and an EXPECTATION that together you can build a LIFE! With the KNOWLEDGE that, by GIVING your life to that person, you will be GAINING a life! Being afraid to ride the rollercoaster, means going home from the fair with ONLY the cotton candy! And only a lifetime of REGRETS! Hobo |
 ...well..I'm still lookin' myself.
But I haven't been slapped in months... so I guess I'm not lookin' too hard. :) |
The word is MATE, not BAIT.
Quit looking under rocks! |
