body pain

For those who may have constant left knee pain, what do you use besides medication for relief? Also with back and neck pain.

this is only a temporary fix .... but I used .. Salonpas .. there not expensive to buy - I bought mine at wallyworld ... next to the expensive Thera Patches in the pharmacy area.... but from the sound of it you need to get a doctors view point on these areas. Steroid shots can help with the swelling and pain for a while. ... I put my pain off as long as I could before I had surgery on my knee and neck. It feels good to 'feel good' .... do take care of yourself out there. It's the only body your getting, let your insurance work for you.

Excuse a guy for butting in here but Cod Liver Oil Capsules work very well for Joint Pain. Try it, don't expect an Instant reduction in Pain, and give it a couple of weeks and I pretty much guarantee that you'll be happy with the Results.

Also, Glucosomine (sp?) tablets are hugely successful. About 3 years ago, my knees were pretty much shot. They creaked, ached, and hitched all the time. I started taking Glucosomine...3 per day, for 6 months. Haven't had a problem since. You can get them anywhere...I got mine at Wal-mart. Glucosomine lubricate joints and helps rebuild cartilege. I was skeptical at first, but boy do they ever work wonders.

Some of the advice given here may be good, but the smallest of pains in the knee can turn out to be devastating later believe me. I am recovering now for my second left knee surg, tore both muniscs, had a lateral release and major arthritis. 1 30 yrs ago and 1 3 weeks ago. A knee left untreated can cause arthritis later and the arthritis eats up everything in the knee. Then its time for a knee replacement once every 10 yrs!! See the DR!!!!!

PS: I really didnt have alot of pain, but the knee was wasted
