Default thanks for the input...

I was planning on staying too during the week. I live in Claremore so it would be 90 minutes or better is my guess. My parents live about 45 minutes or so away on Keystone Lake. The plan would be to have my wife and kids come there on weekends. Thanks for the input Roses. Still awaiting word if the WIA will come thru. I got the physical and MVR along with Application sent in last week to CT.

Well A&M must be the choice. According to you and the many PMs I got. It has the best rep as well.

Default Hands down

From all the talk on this board, Central Tech is the Harvard/Yale of trucking schools in the nation. As for the cost, in state is 1650 & 66 CDL liscense fee. You will need to get copy of MVR about $ 10 in Ok. and a DOT Physical, I paid $ 45 and include them with your school app. Any other questions let me know.

Hey Okie, I have also heard Central Tech called the West Point of the truck driving school industry. Harvard and Yale aside, all still high praise for Central.

Default West Point

West Po int would probably be more like it, I agree. That or Army bootcamp. Been in class 8 days and took the CDL Written today. Attempted all endorsements but passenger and passed with flying colors. Missed a couple on HazMat but aced the others. I believe I made a good choice of schools. They really no their stuff. I am sitting at a 95.5% 8) 8) in academics. No grades given on driving yet since all we have done is pretrip, couple uncoulple, brake test, and straight backing. I remember one guys post awhile back that Freight Relocation University is 75% backing and 25% forwards. Seems about right so far.

Who's your instructor? I deliver in Cushing tomorrow morning and may get a chance to stop by the school. So if you see an Arrow flatbed pull in, come say hi.

Default I did!!! I did!!!

I did see an Arrow on Tues, I believe. A TMC as well. We were off Mon. and they are sure busting our humps to make up for it. Took 3 CT Skills test yesterday. PreTrip- 100% ~~ Straight Line Back- 100% and Couple/Uncouple- 90%. You probably guessed it I had an "Out of Sequence" of 5 off and a chock block brain freeze at completion of test. So that puts me at 95.5$ on academics and 96% so far on academics. We hit the real road today, so anyone in this part of the state---- get out of this part of the state. Hopefully I will be on the afternoon drive so I can have some more time on range.
