Best Cell antenna without an amp.

The newer cell phones are coming without antenna jacks on them due to warrenty issues.

the problem is when in a truck in the areas I run the cell has little to no signal unless I am hook to an external antenna. I can get signal if I get out of the truck but not while in the truck unless I am plugged in to an antenna on the outside of the truck.

I am needing to upgrade my phone. the battery is shot and finding an new battery for this phone is like pulling teeth. That and I would like to get a blue tooth setup for a wireless headset.

These Wilson amps are ok but at 400 bucks are a bit spendy.

Currently running an 04 379 Pete.

Current Phone is a Samsung A670

Just a phone that has blue tooth atleast. Don't really care for all the bells and whistles or a keyboard for texting. Just a bullet proof phone.

I have talked with Verison dealers and they all tell me that non of the new phones have antenna jacks on them anymore and if they have one of them small jacks under the cover then that jack is not actually for an antenna.

I quess the problem is these new phones have so much stuff in them that the jacks got so small and so did the boards in them which meant a very weak joint that was broken off very easily. This is why they don't have actual antenna jacks on them anymore.

I have purchased several batteries from these guys and have been very happy. Now if you want a new phone and the battery is just an excuse......

Well it is not just the battery as the face is scratched up pretty bad so you can't hardly read it and the color is all worn off of it and the cover is actually chipped and broken in a few places from being dropped off the truck etc.

She is just getting a little tough these days and I have had it for 4 years and am up for an upgrade on my phone.

for the battery try ebay
http://tinyurl.com/5ga2px $8.47
for the bluetooth check with a few of the interstate kiosche at the truck stops i have seen bluetooth adaptors that just plug into the headset plug for around $50.

not cheap but that way you can keep the phone you have now.

no offense intended rat, but i believe you've got a cheap old phone there and that's the reason you have trouble getting a signal in the truck. more than likely your connectivity problems will end with a new phone. :P ;)

don't get whatever the "free" one is, but spend no more than $100.

i was going to suggest getting the original motorola razor, as it's a great phone, but they use a lot of battery power with a bluetooth headset, so you would be charging constantly.
