Blue EAGLE- bluetooth headset( the old Blue Parrot thead)

Ok, I'm on my 3rd one/try- and I give up- the darn battery goes dead after only an hour of talking, and "standby' mode doesn't work---so it's back on the charger every other hour.

Nice things to say about it-- nice noise cancelling, fits head well.

anyone tried the "JawBone"-----thinking about going to it.

A co-worker has the Jawbone. The sound is excellent and the battery life is okay, about 4-5 hours of talk time. On the downside, there are no 12v chargers available for it so unless you have an inverter in the truck or are home every night charging may be a problem. Also if you have a beard the Jawbone will not work well as it needs to actually rest firmly against your Jawbone to pick up. I have the Motorola H700 and for the money it works very well. I usually get 5-6 hours of talk time and have put this thing through a lot of abuse. The only downside I have with it is the folding boom tends to get a little slop in it and then it won't turn on, but it was easily fixed by taking it apart and adding some JB weld to the end of the little rod that makes contact with the switch, made it about .020-.030 longer. Plus if you buy it at Amazon you can get it for about $40. Just realise that the H700 will pick up all the background noise of the truck.

Was shopping around for a new headset, was going to go with the Blue Parrot, however I stumbled into the ICC store and saw their Blue Eagle. Claims better battery life, I think it said 14hrs talk, cant remember standby time. I bought the Blue Eagle. Have been very impressed with the battery life. I talk on it every day sometimes many hours. Only charge it every 2-3 days. Comes with 12v and AC chargers. Have had it for a few months now. Others Ive talked to using it cannot even tell when Im using it when driving, cancels all background noise. I hear the party Im talking to with very good quality, and only need the volume up 1/4-1/2 on the headset. Love it!!!

we got our blue eagle at the TA in antioch, tn. we looked at both and the blue eagle, felt better, had the 12v charger, longer talk time (some ware about 12hr) standby around a week. i can be talking to someone and get out and fuel with the truck running and i can hear then and thay can't even hear the truck running. we love it.

Anybody have a link to a website for this Blue Eagle headset? It sounds very interesting. I love my Motorola, but, I get many complaints about excessive background noise since the mic picks up everything in the truck.

Dont know, I think they may be ICC creation. They are priced the same as the Blue Parrot $99.00. ICC sales rep said they pattern the Blue Eagle off of the Blue Parrot, But made improvements on talk/standby times, noise canceling etc. Next time in the T/S go to the ICC and "snope" around.

I have a Plantronic Voyager 510. It's a behind the ear unit, but I love this thing. I charge the battery 1x per week overnight, then it's good for the rest of the week. My wife can't hear any outside noise when I wearing it, even if I've got the window down while talking on it.

It's worth looking at. Most of the ICC stores have them in stock.

Well I bought the Blue Eagle 5hrs ago...got her charged up, paired up, and what can I say-----another defective product from Interstate Connection---everyone can hear me--but the speaker/headset earphone is dead- broken --defective- No audio at all---will have to return it in morning
(hopefully--ICC in New Paris, Oh will be open.
