Save Yourself Money MS Streets & Trips Vs GPS
I got a Garmin StreetPilot 340. Nice unit. The aussie babe is a real companion. But I recommend getting MS Streets and Trips with a GPS receiver. A hundred dollars. You get a nice review of your trip before heading down the road and GPS prompts as you need them.
With the Garmin, all I use it for is when I get off the last ramp. I still use PC Miler and my torn up atlas for everything else. With S&T I could pitch the tattered atlas and wouldn't need PC Miler.

I'd been in another room, talking to the bright people. I had to have him taken away." -on meeting George W Bush at Thompson's Super Bowl party in Houston in 1974
