We are looking for Auto Transporters/Car Haulers who want to work full-time, who are experienced in car hauling and who reflects Sanders & Hobbs Auto Transport, LLC values by being flexible and open to change with regard to duties and schedules and know how to be a team player and treat co-workers as well as customers with patience and respect. We haul new cars, auction cars, and dealer cars. Main areas of operations: PA, MD, OH, IN, MI, WV, VA.

Pay Scale, Salary, and Benefits:

Start at 25% Commission of the 100% Gross Load Price
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Average of 100k+ yearly; paid weekly

All of our trucks are 2014 and newer models and equipped with sleeper cabs
We use only Cottrell 9 car carriers and they are either chain high rail or strap low rail

Requirements:
H.S Diploma or Equivalent is desirable; Ability to speak, read and write English
Valid and current CDL A and MVR (NO DUI’s, Reckless Driving, NO Major Accidents)
Experience operating hydraulic equipment and/or a mechanical background
Minimum of 2 yrs of OTR (Over The Road) or equivalent military experience
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Maintain DOT Medical card and TWIC card

Job Description:
Transport cars between required locations
Communicate with Inspection Centers and Dispatch
Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision
Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL
Follow all safety procedures and maintain driver log
Must adhere to the pick-up and delivery schedule
Required to inspect all vehicles for preexisting damage prior to transporting them, document scratches, dents and other damage to the cars, and failure to do so may result in damage fees being deducted from their wages.
Use care when loading/unloading vehicles from 9 car transport trailers. Ensure all vehicles are securely attached to the decks. After the cars have been properly loaded and secured, car haulers must drive cautiously to avoid hitting street curbs, low-hanging tree branches or other objects.

Physical Demands:
Drivers must be able to climb a 10’ ladder
Be able to frequently sit and drive
Requires the ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure loads, stand, stretch, walk, stoop, push and/or pull in an outdoor environment
Have visual acuity and manual dexterity
Abide by all required safety regulation, applicable by law
Use safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment.
