F250 locksmith help
 

The passenger side door keeps getting stuck. This is a recurring problem. Even my local mechanic has given up on this old F250. But I love it too much to rip it apart. The door just doesn’t open. Should I have it looked at by a locksmith?

Why would you go to a mechanic or a locksmith? They don't work on auto bodys (hint) Take it to someone that works on (hint) auto bodys! It probably needs a new latch or it could be as simple as a broken plastic clip on the linkage.

Is this a work truck or personal vehicle? Might have a bunch of dirt/dust down in the latch. Though your not fully explaining here. Does it unatch but just won't push open? You could have bent/worn out hinges. Could have a latch problem where the whole assembly needs replacing. Have you tried squirting some oil in there on the latch assembly or have you even pulled it open? The interior is fairly easy to pop open, just make sure you get ALL the screws out first! Ford likes to hide them! The interior handle has 2 to 3 sometimes that you won't see.

A Trucker's first attack at the problem, is use some WD-40 ;)

Get some locks or latches from the Junk yard and replace them. :)

It is true though, it has moving parts, try some lube like WD-40 because it might just simply be dirt and dust built up in there causing the whole problem. It is the simplest of fixes to start with without having to really open up the door.

Doors and latches are a body shops game, not a mechanics. Good oiling first with PB Blasters then open and shut the door 20+ times and see what you got. Could always replace the door, may be more cost effective if the truck is older.

Often when I was taking the car for repair, the mechanics didn't know how to solve my problem, and I kept changing to a new salon, and none of them could generally fix it for me, because again, something broke or blocked. That's why I started looking for a solution on the net, and fortunately, I found Locksmith in Grand prairie who, after I called them and told them the situation, they were ready to come to me and help me with this issue. But I set a day for them to come to me in the living room, so I know the future, but next time I will call them where I will hang out, so I don't waste much time.

Have you called for a locksmith or did you do it by yourself? A friend of mine tried to slam his front door, but he only damaged himself. I would definitely call for a locksmith canning town. This is the only one I know and trust, I've been working with them for a while now and I am 100% sure they will unlock any door I need
