can someone please hell with an idle issue?

my company gave me a brand new freight liner cascadia, 2014'' and yes it's sweet. however, it's equipped with this god forsaken opti idle thing, along with many other anti driver programs, that shuts the truck off and on every 15-20 mins. it's designed to save fuel of course while punishing drivers. your supposed to be able to set it at a certain temp inside and when it reaches that temp, it's supposed to cut off then back on to cool it heat, depending on how you set it. it is separate from the outside ambient temp. well this truck cuts off and on all night, and don't run solid like I'm told it's supposed to, even when it's 90+ degrees outside.
anyway, HOW DO I DISABLE THIS FREAKING THING? can it be bypassed? I've tried everything in the book so let me tell you, before you post, what DON'T work..
releasing the tractor break only, using only trailer break.. no go....
using no breaks, wheels chocked.. no go
wedging a stick on the gas pedal to rev up the rpm's.. no go
covering the opti idle box sensor, no go...
I've tried pretty much everything. also,I cannot not use the opti idle because the truck also shuts down after 5 mins no matter what. unless I sit and tap the gas pedal every 5 mins, truck will shut off so you MUST use opti idle.
so again, how do I get around this?

As the owner of trucks and drivers the best way around a company setup is to buy your own.

With that said the opti-idle switch is usually wired to the hood. No mechanic wants the truck to start when he is working on the motor.

All other idle parameters are through the ecm. The only way to change is to enter new parameters through the ecm.

Well assuming you have the temp. set to what you want in the cab and it still starts/shut down/starts with no regard to what the inside temp is then you have a malfuction, it should be under warenty. But you should still have to turn it on or off in the bunk otherwise it will not start back up.

Pull out the bunk control panel. 2 wires run to the thermo switch. Either that's bad(or un-plugged) or the temp range setting in the ecm is set too close. Should be at least a 10 degree range.
