Vibration

My truck has a bad vibration when the motor is under load. If I'm pulling a little hill, or if I try to pass somebody I get a vibration from the peddle to the floor to my seat. If I let up on the peddle just a little bit, most of the vibration goes away. The truck has all new U-joints, new hanger bearing, changed both steer tires and rims. Even empty it vibrates when I hold the peddle down. Any ideas????

I did get few pid and Sid codes come up on the dash within the last few weeks. I looked up the codes, but none of the numbers showed up in the code list I looked at. I also noticed my fuel dropped from 6.08 down to 5.94 in the last week. Same loads, same roads. 60 series Detroit. Pid 32, pid 024, Sid 160, Sid 240, Sid 058, Sid 107, Sid 095

I have a Sid code calibrator you hook into your split tail. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...10/Driver2.gif

Somehow I, I, I...

I now understand how an internal combustion engine works.

Thanks Hoggie! :)

Did it had a vibration before you've changed u-joints and bearing? How is your ride height? Don't think much about DD as an engine, but it may be not it fault.....

freebirdrfd 11-21-2012 02:56 PM

Yes it had the vibration before. I don't think it has anything to do with the driveline because when I let off the fuel peddle I'm still going the same speed, but I don't feel the vibration nearly as much. None of them codes show up on any page I have looked at.
