shifting problems

I'm driving a 2000 T-2000 with auto shift or shift assist ( i'm not sure what you call it ). Sometimes it won't downshift until the RPM's drop down to 1,000 or below. Other times it won't up shift until well over 2,000 RPM's. Sometimes i have to push the button to get it to shift, other times it seems to get stuck inbetween gears for a few seconds. The tranny fluid is full. Any clue on what would cause this? Is there a tranny filter that may be clogged? Also, i hear a sound like i'm in a wind tunnel when i pull a hill.. I've checked all the hoses around the intake, and they all seem fine..

I am also looking to find out what the following codes mean on a Detroit 60 series. engine sid 095 bad part, truck brake sensor R-1 low, Pid 024 low, Engine sid 240, engine sid 058, sid 107 bad part. ??????

All the codes(except R-1 low,abs or traction control) are trans ecm codes. Could be as simple as loose connection at the ecm.

Going to have to be plugged in to determine the problem. Really very generic codes.

I don't know about the codes but sounds like a intermitnent elect problem like Chris said or the ECM it's self. It dosn't sound like a fluid type or mechancal problem.

If it's throwing random trans codes, as well as acting 'goofy', I'd check all of the transmission electrical connections. It's probably a simple fix, such as cleaning the contacts and using dielectric grease at the connections. If it continues, you may want to check into the transmission ecm wiring harness replacement - that's a common problem on Volvo's.
