Best Motor Det 60
 

Ive been on the road and have seen few 60 series motors down!..
Whats everybody say about the 60 series. Cruzer:clap:

do you drive with your eyes open? the 14l are horrible because of the egr, i believe the early 12.7's had crank issues. 90% of what i see on the side is detroit. i do love both motors though.

i'm very happy with my "crappy" MBN c15. only 435hp but i'm getting 6.5mpg out of it pulling hills with 30+k all the time. though, i do wish the throttle response was better. really wish it had a n14 or ISX though.

11.1 ser 60 over 1.3 mil miles. still going. though had inframe done 70,000 miles ago & all components looked as if it could of easily went to 2 mil miles.

hauling on average 38-42k have a 14L DD60 series. this engine is beast.....a shame it has been phased out though
