How does one take a printout of the ECM information ? Also, what kind of information does the ECM yield ? Thanks.

It shows all parameters programmed into it to make the engine/truck run/drive like it does. Also a pretty good tattle tale.
We do printouts with a laptop and engine specific software. May be some handhelds that will do it but never had to try it with one.

We usually don't bother with printouts any longer. We just make images we can pull up later or upload for warranty claims or accident investigations.
