fifth wheel deal

ok i got a scenerio for yas...im new to this forum an i made a few comments havent seen how to read the rebuts or responses (i'll figure it out)...anyways, i've been drivin for 2 yrs now, and yeah im kinda happy w my company (till i read my pay stub just now (laughs ))....

but anyways, heres my deal w th 5th wheel subject.....i'm thinkin my 5th wheel is too far up becuz of the fact that everytime i go scale out <cat scales>, i always have at least 11,500 on my steers w 25-30000 lbs of freight w the fuel guage readin half full. i even got pulled into parkton marylands scales (they hate truckers by the way so if ur goin 83 s be scaled out legal). if i have 40,000 ill max out at 12000 on my steers. i been thinkin of movin my 5th wheel back 2 holes ( as much of a pita that is to do ) reason bein i wanna make more room to fuel all the way.

It's quite easy to slide the 5th wheel. Wait until you have an empty trailer, and slide away!

With my Classic, where I have my 5th wheel, 34,000 on the drives is 12,180 on the steers. I've never had a problem with that at any scale anywhere.
