Overhead?
 

Hello everyone!

I have a 2000 Volvo with a s60 detoit..... The head was rebuilt about 150k ago and probably never had an overhead done since the rebuild.... I have put about 30k on it since bought... I have some ticking noises in the engine, sounds like lifters. What is all involved in an overhead and what should it cost? Is it something thatcould be done myself? I am very good with automotive stuff including diesels but not to keen with the big stuff..... ANY info would be great!!!

Most shops charge a flat rate for an overhead. You're looking between $250-$400.
