opinions on Filters?

Which do you feel is best and why? I have conflicting opinions on filters, asked 3 different mechanics at different shops and keep getting 3 different opinions. Would like to hear some opinions form the guys using them as to which they feel is best and why. Also found a vary good article on Turbodieselregister about oils. http://www.turbodieselregister.com/a...l-Information/

dontaldson endurance/endurance plus are the best right now.

Better flow, filtration, with synthetic media.

Their "plus" line also slowly replenishes your TBN.

How are the Donaldson prices compared to Baldwin or Fleet guard or Wix?

If you run a Cat engine, use their filters. Although they are more expensive, remember the old saying, you get what you pay for.

I don't know, but the filters for my engine are regularly about $10 bux each(2 full flows) and the endurance were $17 each.
