LED turn signal mystery ?

Today I was checking my turn signals and one of the fender LED's was only working on the back side. Everything worked except the front side wouldn't flash. Their about six months old.

So I took the truck back to were I park it and checked it again and Yep, it was working. It does look like two of the little bulbs are out in the very center on the front side.
I have very little experiance with these, and was wondering what you do if the don't work...throw the whole light away ?

If there is a broken wire you can cut it apart and glue it back together. The board itself isn't usually fixable but the wire that comes in from the outside sometime cracks where it's soldered to the board. If you cut along the seem with a bandsaw and use two part epoxy to glue it back together you can fix it with decent results.

I had the same problem and maybe you have the same. When I split the light in half there are 2 metal fingers that make contact between the 2 halves by touching a metal ring on the other half. I had to clean that ring and bend the fingers up more and it was fixed. The problem happened again so I soldered a wire between the two solving the contact problem.

Thanks,
This is probably what's going on. A weak contact.

Update,

I never did anything (well, I might have called it something), as this LED has kept working ever since....

Per Steve's request...which I agree with.
