Axle weight help
 

How can one know the axle weight by just looking at the front and rear axles. The tag on the door is gone and the owner said the front is 20,000 and the rears are 44,000. He also stated that the front was 12,000 and he took it up to 20,000. Thanks for any help that can be given.

Maybe a vin number search and match up with the dealer? Try up in the Dashboards and that area, they sometime are in the glove box. If all else fails, grab a flashlight and crawl under and find the numbers on the axles themselves?
