2000 Freightliner Fault code at startup

We have a 2000 Century class, n14. At startup you get this message that says something about system fault, or fault something #1.

Does anyone have an idea what this means? It only shows at startup.

I honestly never looked. Truck is on route right now, but I will check. It only happens at key on, engine off and shows for a min or so. It goes right out at startup, and never comes back on at anytime. There is a check engine toggle, but it doesnt really do much, its located on the lower right area above the key

i know on mine, when i start it up it always says "active fault 1" but when i check it with the shutdwn override button, its an old code that was never cleared out a few years back, and when i push in tractor brake button, it wont come on til the next morning when i go to start truck again, i have a 2000 freightliner century also.

OK, same here. How do you go through pulling codes on yours? I tried fooling around with it, and cant seem to get them to come up. (if there are any)

Celect plus (N14) does not flash codes on the dash unless they are active (happening right now).

Not sure about century, it may be different, but normally you would turn the key switch on while holding the diagnostic (check engine) switch on, then release the switch and count flashes.
