Whats the highest # of miles you've heard of on a truck?
I've always wondered, what's the highest # of miles you've seen on a tractor-trailer? I've heard it's not uncommon to get around 400'000 on the odometer. Have there ever been any to reach one million miles? What happens if you reach it? Does the odometer start back over to 000'000? :?:

I personaly have seen odo's with 1.4 and 1.6 million miles on them and heard of another with 2.1 mill.
All were Pete's with Cat motors... |
I had 1.2 million on my Freightliner

I've got somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.2-and 1.3 on my w900l. Solid as a rock...I put fuel in it, change the oil and roll. I've had little problems here and there, but nothing too major yet. <crossing fingers>BTW-It's got a 3406E model Cat.

Friend of mine is restoring an old Pete Cabover... The old "FOOTBALL HELMET". It's supposed to have 4.3 million on it. Cummins engine, but don't know what model. Might be a "Big Cam 3".
