I *think* that'll extend it to 15 minutes, but I haven't tried that. Besides, I'm often bobtail when I shut down at the distribution center, so I'd have to use wheel chocks for that trick, which I'm not crazy about.
As for the ECM, I do plan on asking the shop foreman about that whenever I'm there during first shift. If their programming software can communicate with the engine, they might be able to allow for override, since the truck doesn't have an APU.
I'm just glad I got it after summer was over, since I don't need A/C at night. It does have an Espar heater, though, which works rather well. We also don't really need to worry about fuel gelling up often and we keep anti-gel on hand during the winter, so that shouldn't be a problem either.
