PMTG getting desperate?
 

Some of our drivers who stayed at the Wilco in South Boston, VA last night reported that they found some flyers on their windshields this morning contrasting Dollar General and Precision Motor Transport Group. Even more strange was that I found a couple mini-pamphlets in the parking area of our shop. The recruiter put his name on the back... and guess what, he used to work for one of DG's carriers. Funny thing is, they keep claiming $65-70k a year... but nowhere do they speak of their pay package. Oh, and did I mention that they have no terminals anywhere near us?

Driver wage for the last 3 years was $72,000 plus benefits. Driver wages (other than training wages) are paid at approximately 20% of the revenue for all outbound loads. Wages average approximately $0.65 per mile for all miles driven

Drivers will receive a minimum of two weeks of training prior to assignment for "solo" deliveries. Trainees are paid at a rate of $75 per day during classroom & hands-on training sessions. This would also include a $25 perdierm for food

Hometime: we have 2 options for OTR drivers 12-14 days out with a full 2 days off or 21 days out with 3 full days home ,drivers from Detroit,Cleveland ,Chicago and other cities in our lanes are home more often
