Winter Weather

As I sit here at our yard in Anchorage Alaska, waiting on my load, the thermometer reads 22 degrees.Just reminds me better get ready for winter down south. All of the newbies better brush up on your winter skills now and not wait until it is to late.I thank the Lord I am not in the division that runs the Ice Road.Everybody be safe.

You said the "W" word. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...10/chatter.gif

I went through the checklist on my Romanian built Ejection Seat... and I'm good to go.

Are you with Carlile? Or, some other outfit up there? Just curious.

I am with Carlile.I run out of their Houston Texas yard.Guess it was luck of the draw to come up to Anchorage.I usually don't come past the Seattle yard.Am back in the lower 48 finally.

Yeah tell me about it! I run 2 45's in a day cab and when there is white stuff on the ground, we have pull the truck to a safe spot and sit until the roads are clear,,,unpaid :(. We used to be able to just drop a trailer and then continue and do our job, but the suits and ties thought tha twe might be faking so we wouldn't have to work as hard,,,WF? Look on the dman news to see if it's snowing

If you don't get paid for it, I'd go home. :p

2 45's?? Dag gum! Heck with that! :hellno:

Something I'd love to do is go to Aussie and pull a road-train. But, at least there's no 'w' weather down there to worry about.
