My kids went to Sultana..Now, I commute over Donner Pass...Better hill. DO you drive a "red" truck with an "R" on it ?? Just curious...My old friend Jerry owns Double Eagle still.

Not driving right now, but hopefully someone will start giving me an inch.
I checked out Double Eagle and they were kind of slow as well.

Sultana, eh?
I actually graduated from Victor Valley High in '01.
Many called that school ghetto, but Silverado High(aka,.Killer-rado, SilverGhetto, SilverSinkhole., etc) is where many of the kids of the troublemakers from LA/OC are sent due to it's Adelanto proximity(Adelanto leads the desert in trash as usual).
The local community college up here is basically turning into a "continuation school".

Life in the HD.

Werner is going to mandate hazmat by the end of next quarter. No raise, no reimbursement. Told them I intended to get doubles and tanker while I was at the DMV. They don't want to pay a competetive wage for required endorsements then to hell with them.

So, what's Con-way and Fed-Ex paying nowadays?

Ahhh gee whiz did Werner turn sour already.

$0.50 - $0.55 a mile and $20-$25ish an hour.

Well, earlier in the thread I mentioned the fact that I was willing to accept the lower pay for no mandated endorsements. Now they want to require one that costs about $130 without having the common F$%^ing courtesy of reimbursing or raising wages. It's no longer a desirable trade-off.

ROFLMFAO :lol2:

HAHAHA! Your better off, if you can't afford to spend $130 the job is crap.
