Energy Dispatch in B'ham, AL
 

Dose anyone have any information about how Energy Dispatch is to work for? I have applied for the Birmingham, AL location and have spoken a couple of times to HR in Atlanta. I have been told that I am on the back-up list and will be contacted when someone is needed. I would love to find out if this is a good company to work for. I understand the days off 4 & 2, 12 hour shifts, etc... Do they get paid by the load, hour, etc...? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Their wages are "area" specific. If they have a terminal in an area where the other drivers are predominantly paid by the hour, then they pay by the hour. If the predominant pay is percentage, then they pay percentage, if by the load then they pay by the load.

I put them in the "Good place to train" catagory. Get in your "training time", that the better paying carriers and major's require, then move on to the better wages.
