I talked with a Burriss driver a year or so ago in the Orlando area, he did day trips to Miami. Only bad thing he said about them was that the terminal was not organized at all, (that would most likely just be a regional problem.) He said he was pulling in 55 grand driving for them and stayed busy.
I applied with them before I went to UPS Freight and got called up by HR for the first meet & greet interview I was told to bring my lifetime DMV????
I said Lifetime DMV? she responded yes it gives us an idea of your driving habits. My response; "with all due respect my driving habits from 16 to 24 were not to be desired and have no reflection upon my driving habits of today", so thank you for the opportuinty but I think I will pass. She told me I was passing up a great job opportunity to which I said maybe so however a lifetime driving record requirement when all that is needed is 10 years is hindering your company from getting a dedicated safe driver... My childhood driving is going to stay undercover as long as I can keep it there... Thank you very much for the opportunity.
A lifetime driving record seems to be a bit much if you ask me....
