I'm currently applying for Translogic Auto Carriers. Anybody know much about them? And how about Waggoners?

I have never worked for any of those companies,but wish you the best of luck. As a former car hauler myself, I really think you would enjoy driving for a company that hauls mainly new cars. Some auction cars or whatever are nice every now and then for a backhaul but you don't want to be doing that stuff all the time as a company driver. It is a tough time right now to be getting into car hauling. I used to work for Jack Cooper, myself, and enjoyed working there.

Where did you work for J. Cooper at? Did they lay you off? Some of their guys here in So. Cal are laid off for now.

Translogic say buisness is still good for them. They haul new Chrysler and Ford out of Henderson CO. At least that's where I would be based out of. He said they haul a lot up here in Montana. That's why me living here in Great Falls is ok I guess. But, obviously this economy is in the tank right now. And I would be worried that in a few months I might not have any cars to haul. I sent an email to Wagoners, but no responce yet.

Called Selland again today, and he said they might have something... But of corse he said he'll call me back. lol.

About 5 of our guys jumped ship and went to Selland about a month ago. They flew up to Seattle and did some paperwork and had their trucks within the week.

Just curious, who do you work for?

Looks like Selland isn't an option for me. Anybody know of any other car hauling companies that are hiring?
