I probably put more drivers on Arnold than any other company. I havent been hiring for them for long...but no complaints yet....only Thank You's.
What I can tell you. They WILL get you home every week, almost always on the weekends, however sometime things happen and it carries over to weekdays. They WILL keep you in your region. The miles are pretty consistant for a regional, almost always around 2200-2400.

thay are a subsidiary of us xpress, us xpress doesn't run it but they use the same equipment.

Also, right now, your part of Tennessee is a good area for them. Just today they updated their hiring areas big time and reduced them quite a bit.
Kind of sucked today, I was in the process of doing an Arnold App for a driver in St Louis, and right when I was about done, I get an Email from arnold saying St louis is no longer a hiring area...lol

Well sort of...but not really.
US Express is just a minority holder of Arnold stock. They are two separately run companies.

sheepdancer about 2 1/2 years ago arnold was in trouble. thay didn't have the money to update their fleet so thay worked out a deal with US, US would update the arnold's fleet and US would get 49% of arnold at the end of two years arnold could buy back US's 49% or US could buy out arnold's 51% (that's ware arnold got all the RED 03-04 columbia's)

after about 1 1/2 years US acquired another 31% of arnold so now thay have 80% that is why you now see Arnold using RED Colombia's, centuries, and volvo's, and then are all auto-shift, US orders them.

all new Arnold trucks first goto US terminal at tunnel hill, ga. To have their logos put on and satcom/drivertech installed. WE"VE SEEN THEM

also if you look at the older arnold trailers you will see the trailer numbers are black but on the newer ones thay are RED just as US's are

They ARE run as two totally separate companies but US owns 80% of them.

The really bad part is Arnold didn't tell their drivers about this when it first starting. We were at the US terminal in Oklahoma City and two Arnold drivers were having worked done on their trucks, thay came up to us and asked if US was buying then out...?

What gets me, is that they run ads in our paper for their "Southwest Regional" quite often, and I may see an Arnold truck once a month or so. :P
