Does anyone have any information on Sharkey ?
 

Does anyone have any info on this company? I found their ad on a trucking website and they guarantee $1000/week. On their actual website it says they guarantee $800/week.

Just wondred if we have any Sharkey drivers here??

Its 1000 a week guaranteed and home weekly. To get the 1000 bucks you have to be avail for dispatch 5 1/2 days a week. Another good thing about it is that 1000 bucks in the minimum in that program, you can actually make more in a week. Downside, if you dont perform up to par, meaning if you arent a good driver, they can and will pull you off that program and pay you 35 cpm. However, most drivers on that program stay on it. If you can perform up to par, you will most likely be let go anyway. Also if you take a day off during the week for something like a Drs appointment, you wont make the 1000 bucks. And if you miss work more than a couple of times, you will be pulled off the program.
Another good thing about Sharkey is the 100% company paid medical insurance.
Now the hard part...they are very very hard to get on. They turn down a lot of people. Especially right now. I do recruit for them, but when I talk to a driver who is interested in them, I tell them not to quit their job yet because they might not get this job. If they arent working, I always have them have a fallback position with another company I recruit for.
