TRIMAC

Ran a search before posting. No threads on Trimac. Anyone on CAD know anything about Trimac.

I couldn't find anything about pay or benefits on it's website. Just a video.

Any comments are welcome. Cyanide seems to know about all the bulk companies. But, his "Tanker Company Pay Scale" guide did not include TRIMAC.

FWIW, I submitted an online application with them last Monday. They called me on Wednesday.

I don't know where you're from, but FWIW, they have a terminal here in Tamaqua. It used to be a Logex terminal. Just guessing, but they may be here to run for Air Products out of Hometown. Other than that, I don't know much about them.

TriMac is a Canadian company, and covers the north quite extensively. In the US, TriMac purchased lot's of smaller companies, especially in the early 90's, when that was the only way they could get USDOT authority to haul hazmat in the country. Back in the early 90's, hazmat was still regulated, and some company's that had authority, realizing they were gonna get swallowed when de-regulation hit, sold out to make the most of their DOT authority. TriMac paid a steep price to do business here in the US.

I drive for Trimac out of airgas in Bozrah,Ct it was a Logex account until Trimac bought them out. One thing I like about it is I work with some drivers that have been there since the start of the plant and have been there through all the different trucking companies, so if another Co. gets the contract the drivers stay put!! I don't know much about the benefits because my wife has a great plan at her job, the pay is pretty good considering the ease of the job. depending on where you are from you can't be afraid of the cities we run alot of Boston and NYC and it makes me laugh at all the drivers at my terminal that cry about going to NY. We have a 3 week training period (full pay) then you go to Houston for 1 week then on your own. anything else just ask me
