Jim Aartman
I had sent a app to Jim Aartman, I haven't heard any thing back from them, so I went to bookmark I have, So I could get the phone number to call ,but came up could not be found so just went removed everything off the address but the http://wwwjimaartman.com and was sent straight too ruan.com
okay that was as far as I went besides going back to sites that list trucking companies, hoping to find a correct link, and I found nothing. I just wanna see what happen to my App, does some aliens from another galaxy have it now, or :?: :?: |
Here's the number to the "old" Aartman HQ in Ripon, CA (where I ran out of when I was there)... 800-871-9038, and then enter extension 143 for Jon Pfitzer (pronounced fit-zer). He should be able to find out what happened to it.
I know that since Ruan acquired Aartman that they are now handling the apps but to the best of my knowledge (I last spoke with Jon a couple months ago), you would still be dispatched out of Ripon if you were running the line-haul (OTR) fleet or West-coast regional. Good luck, I do hope this helps you out. If you need any detailed info concerning Aartman, I have the full run down on them concerning pay/benefits in my "Tanker info for y'all..." thread. They ran me very good, and I got plenty of time off as well. Those figures are included in there as well. In my opinion, for the "easy" food-grade companies they simply are the best, and had I not landed my current job with Superior Carriers I would still be there. |
thx . .
I am looking at the Ruan web site now, and I see ruan owns Jim Aartman since Jan 26 2007, which confuses me since the add I saw was last may looking for a driver to drive from Orland to Medford, since I live in Medford I thought perfect, because I am from both areas (well not Orland, but close), so in a since either place would be home for me. While checking on the Raun locations, none of them are in Orland, nor Medford. I'll try and call that number tomorrow, I still see The Aartman trucks, was wondering if they started again as Jim Aartman, maybe ? edited: forgot to add, I only have 13 months OTR flatbed, always wanted to do Tanker tho, but always saw ,or been told a person needed 1-2 yr's of OTR, before you could get into a tanker driver position tho most of that time was hauling Stoce, wonder if I should stick with flatbed for another year ? |
