You thought that was funny, you should see this clip: (and i apoligize to woody for hijacking the topic)

This will have you cracking up.

I never really watched his show when it was on. There was also another local show entitled "Black Reflections" produced by Howard University. I just thought that i couldn't relate to either program so i never watched them. I guess i missed out. Petey Greene was a rather cozy talk show host. He was......a human being, let's put it that way. BTW, as it relates to this post, Petey Greene was convicted of armed robbery in, i think 1960, and spent about 6-7 yrs in prison.

2) I will PM you about the company and other stuff.

Take your time, I am in no hurry. I just got an application in the mail from a local company...strange...so, I will fill it out and fax it back to them.

I worked for Swift when I was on Probation back in the mid 90's. All your PO has to do is write you a letter of authorization to leave the state.

Ah-ha, there are major companies that will look at me! I started filling out a Swift app., but stopped because the questions about criminal background were so intense, I didn't think I had a chance. My driving record will probably prevent me from working for them. Thanks for the reply, this is the info that I am looking for.

I received the pm, thank you. I will check into them.

Are their trucks daycabs? You had mentioned something about motel allowance.

brian griffin 07-30-2007 12:21 AM

No, unless you're local.

2) They do provide motels for certain runs only. I.e., Boston because there are no truckstops in the greater boston area.
