truckers' deductable expenses
This is a list some people on here may recognize. the company that I drive for gives this to all of its drivers. It is a list of everything that a driver can use as a tax deduction. There may be a lot of companies that give this out, I've only drove for one company so I don't know, but it seems like there are a lot of truckers asking about what they can and can't right off so here it is...

XM and the other satellite radio services are deductible also, Safety Devices. This has stoud up to a court ruling against the IRS.
Also remember and be careful: If the company offers reimbursement of a drivers expense on the road, but the driver choses not to apply for the reimbursement. That expense is no longer deductible. Ex: tolls, truck washes, oil, etc. Louis |
Arhhh, I typed them out in rows. Now they are all in a cluster and it is kinda hard to read. Sorry guys, I'm new to posting on here. And yes, there may be a couple more than what is on here, feel free to post any. But there were many that I never would have realized and thought others may like to know.
