does anyone have any companies to recomend for a new driver?

What "style" of trucking are you interested in? Do you feel drawn to the rigors of flatbedding? The challenge of tarping and securing your load?
Maybe you'd be more comfortable with the "slow and easy" approach that's crucial in driving the surging, moving freight hauled in tankers? Perhaps you'd be interested in pulling a refrigerated unit? Or are you drawn to the careful, calculated movement of backing a huge dryvan 53-footer into a tiny dock?? Either way, you have to consider which part you think you'd most like to look into.
Why? There are many companies that will offer you, as a new driver, training---so you're going to have to have some way of narrowing the field!
Take a look at the different companies that advertise on this very site. Do you have a clean police and driving record? Yes, that matters. Do you have a preference for how often you get home? Are you considering the possibility of becoming a part of a driving team? These are just some of the questions you might want to answer, for yourself, in order to get clarification on the type of company you're looking for.

You might want to look into CFI.

They will train new drivers, and they have a terminal in Taylor, MI... south side of Detroit, and you can take your truck home with you. Better than average pay, excellent equipment, and a good company.

You can do a search for them using CFI and Skywalker as the search words and you will get a lot of information.

You can also go over to http://www.cfidrivers.com and log on and ask questions there and get answers from people who are there.

Take a look at Ashley furniture Distribution www.ashleyfurniture.com. I think they have a small distribution terminal in Sanadusky. They hire recent grads but you would have to go to Wisconsin in order to get your training. Good luck.

If you are interested in flatbedding I recommend TMC. We have a lot of freight in and through the Ohio area. You are guaranteed 46 out of 52 weekends at home in the linehaul division.
