How many individual pieces is this? Seperating and sorting 800 cases at 12-14K gets old quick. Maybe Dollar Tree has larger pieces, but I'd be curious how you individually would move 1 piece of freight weighing 10,000 lbs, if its hand two-wheeler unloaded like the food jobs are-even with a lift gate. Are you f'n Superman?

Edit: I guess I can understand if it was 40-50K and each piece was around 500 lbs. =100 pieces of freight. That's doable. I had no idea DT was so well organized logistically, but f'n A, no way in hell will I be applying there ever for a job. Thanks for the info.

Dollar Tree was typically 2200 to 3100 pieces the heaviest weighing up to around 30 pounds. The loads with 3000 pieces usually were a 3 to 4 stop trip. I had to hand throw each box down a roller building my roller ramp up as I got further down the truck.

That sounds similar to Earp Distributions(the guys that do McDonalds here) method to get food into their stores. Doesn't sound like too bad a deal really. Just curious-have you started with Sysco yet? How they treatin ya? I'll admit sometimes I miss it, especially the really cool customers trying to fatten me up with the free lunches.
