Our adventure with 3KB Transportation, Altus Ok

We had asked about this company here several weeks ago and no one knew anything about them. We could not find anything good or bad anywhere on the internet. So we asked all the questions, and felt we wanted to give it a try.

We went to the orientation last Monday(3-12) in Altus, Ok. We drove up and they reimbursed our gas. We stayed in a hotel and were picked up by the trainer, Robert. This guy is awesome. He is so funny and laid back, but serious about getting the orientation done. It was a 3 day deal, and we were ready to leave on our first load by Wednesday afternoon.

This company is very laid back and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. It is a small company, but with top notch equipment. They do pay for the orientation, $300 to be exact, and it is paid before you leave on your first load, along with any reimbursments.

They also paid for 3 meals a day at a local resturant. We just signed our name and 3KB took care of the rest. We could not be more pleased in how it went. We went back by our home to get our fridge and such, then on to La Porte to deliver and then to Corpus to load and now we are in Miami to deliver tomorrow.

They do not bug the crap out of you on the qualcom. You route yourself, and you can choose whether you want to fuel at The J or at TA's.

You must have 2 years OTR to join with this company, but all in all, so far so good.

Their trucks are 07 international eagles, with the apu's on them. With eagle sleepers. We have met some of the other drivers and the ones we have met have been with the company 3 years plus.

I will keep you posted on how things go and where we go.

My name is Kim and I ride with my Hubby. He drives and I do all his paperwork and such, and we just enjoy being out here together. So I hope you do not mind if I share our adventures with you all!

i would like to sincerly thank you for the information.

However:
I'm not trying to attack you, but i'm not sure what it is with some women with the "we" thing.

Why is it always "we" did this, "we" did that?

"We" didn't do anything. HE did it.

I don't understand the mentality of some women who don't do any actual work but think they are really contributing to earning money.

Again, i'm not attacking, but i would like to know.

What you need to do is grow a pair of ovaries, get your licence, and start driving and making some real money. Then it really can be "we."

Also, please don't use the term "hubby" either. Thanks.

This is to Lewis Friend

Boy, you may say you don't want to sound evil, but from where I sit, nice you ain't!

Hubby, hubby, hubby......

I drive myself, but my hubby had a couple of jobs when I chose not to get hired on, and at times drove with him. I did the paperwork, fed him, walked the dog, cleaned the truck, in other words I supported him. We were a team, whether I drove or not.

It worked for us and it may work for them. She may not get a paycheck but she is out there with him.

They are married, that makes him her hubby and qualifies her to say us, we.....

^^ Well you should have kept your post to yourself !!
This is the HUBBY and you are speaking of things in which you know nothing about, WE went thru orientation together as she was asked if she would like to attend, and as a happily married couple for a many of years we do everything together that effects both of us, as it is our lives
together. On another note my wife's ovaries are none of your concern!!!
BUBBA!! WE have been doing this trucking thing together for many of years, since late 1980's and part of the problem now days is people out here sticking their nose in things they shouldn't NOT TRYING TO ATTACK
BUT..... Now if you want to continue to post about the original topic then
come on in if not?? THEN HIT THE ROAD

CJ (THE HUBBY)
