Hunt Transportation

Hunt transports a variety of commodities from agricultural, construction and industrial machinery to building materials predominantly on preloaded flatbeds; single and double drop deck trailers. Hunt also utilizes RGN Trailers.

Hunt Runs all 48 states, with the major running lanes being the midwest and southeast.

Drivers are usually out 2 weeks at a time.

Hunt only Tarps 17 % of our frieght throughout the course of the year.

Average Miles are 2800 to 3100 miles per week. Hunt Pays Practical miles.

We do hire students out of school, but it has to be a PTDI certified school, and we do have a waiting list.

If this sounds interesting to you please give me a call, I would like to answer any questions you might have.

1) What kind of tractors you got?

2) Do you pay layover?

3) Areas of operation?

We have International 9400 Eagles, and Freighliner Columbia trucks. The oldest trucks we have are two years old.

We run all 48 states but the heart of our frieght is the midwest, and southeast.

Our biggest customers are John Deere, New Holland/Case, and Valmont Industries.

We hire company drivers, and Owner Operators. I have read on this board that alot of people think we are strictly owner operators, and that is not true. We actually have more company drivers than Owner Operators.

We do not have any regional or dedicated runs, we are a OTR company.

We can hire anywhere in the country, but depending on where you live, hometime varies. If you live in the midwest, or southeast you can figure you will be out 2 weeks, and home for 2 to 3 days. Hometime is based off of productivity at Hunt. If you are running the miles, and being a productive driver our fleet manager will work with you on hometime, if you need an extra day off.

If anyone has any more questions feel free to contact me.
