Home time...

Does anyone have a list of companies that get you home every week? Two weeks at the most, but would love just a week. Thanks.

Home on weekends

CRST has a new "branch" out of Indianapolis that gets you home on weekends. CRST Premier.317-802-9640

Good luck

on average 9 out of 10 carriers offer some sort of program that will get you home weekends ......ex:with Roehl , I had the option to do MW Regional and be home every weekend , local , OTR (out 11/home3) , 7on/7off or 7/4 7/3 .

If you live somewhere in the middle of effing nowhere , it will naturally be harder to get you home then if you would live in a metropolitan area .

Any informed driver would pass at that chance

Depends where you live.

I live in Florida.

You may want to check out the local ads in your area, and see if you can find some regional carriers. There are some carriers that do offer regional runs that can get you home on a weekly basis, depending on where you live. Arnold Transportation is somewhere in Florida. I may be wrong, but I think they offer a southeast regional. They are a HAZMAT company, though,I think.

Roehl requires you to live within a certain mile radius of a terminal before you can be on the Hometime Fleet (7/7, 7/4-7/3, dedicated). I know of one driver that drove 150 miles to get to a terminal. He didn't last long because he had 2.5 hours drive in before he even started work! Makes for a long first day out. Since you live in Florida and the closest terminal is Atlanta I think that Roehl is not for you.

INTERESTING screen name for a guy living in FLORIDA!!! MOST Floridians only get home every other weekend with TMC as Florida is considered a Long Haul area except for possible dedicated routes we are opening up down there.
