Sheepdancer's topic about guarantees is now locked down. :roll: Seems everytime the RECRUITER get in over his head either there is a computer glitch where the posts disappear or it gets swept under the rug. Maybe we should check to see if Sheepdancer is a.k.a. Twilight Flyer also?

I found it very suspicious that it got locked too. Sure it was intense but not offensive. Just makes me wounder. :?

Well, I not surprised. First of all, it was posted in the wrong location. It should have been posted here:

Second, it was time to close it. It got to the point of saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over again.

And you would think that "JB Hunt sucks" would get tiresome after a while. Not for me, but to most people. :D :D :D

I just did a search for topics in that area for job posting....

Not one hit for JB HUNT or Sheepdancer......

Now why wouldn't a recruiter post in that area if they truly wanted to recruit drivers??????

What the f*** is going on? Is their too much competition? I will say this...there are companies who are in that area of this board that WILL guarantee miles per week. HMMMMMMMMMM

I wouldn't really say that it went off topic. Sheepdancer started the thread saying "so you want guarantees." We were just asking for answers about backing up the guarantees. Maybe there are other that buy into the smoke and mirrors but I believe ALL the fact should come to light whether they are good or bad. I just don't agree that when there is a one sided story and someone else points out the other side it will get shut down.

And during this post the same question was asked over and over and Sheepdancer (danced) around not giving an answer. Just giving non-answer :dung: All of it coming from the JB recruiter handbook.

It was locked down because I was tired of the fighting from both sides and it was serving no purpose as it continued to spiral out of control and it generated negative PM's from several people.

As far as posts disappearing because someone got in overhead, I have a roll of tinfoil to help with that conspiracy theory complex. :roll: It was shut down because it violated forum rules from both sides, period.

And for the last time, if you're still complaining about the board glitch a couple of weeks ago that caused a day's worth of postings to disappear (including, I am told, a JB Hunt post), I suggest you fire off a PM or an e-Mail to CAD and ask him about the SERVER SWITCH ON THAT DAY?! :roll: :roll: :roll:

After some cooling down, I'll spell it out a little more clearly since I was a bit miffed earlier (car/deer accident, pain, somewhat irritable).

Anyway, I am not Sheepdancer, I do not know the guy, and I have no inordinate need to protect him. The JB Hunt thread that got deleted a couple weeks back, got deleted along with about a days worth of posts, when CAD switched to a new server. I know...I called them up and asked them what the deal was with the missing posts. The one I locked down, I locked down for the reasons spelled out above.

So, there is not great conspiracy to protect recruiters on this board, me included. A recruiter sinks or swims by his or her own words, again me included. Thread shut downs occur when things get out of hand, causing people to complain. And for what it's worth, I did ban the other log-in ID of his, since Mults are indeed a violation of T.O.S. No accusations coming either way, but even if it was accidentally posted, you can see how things can rapidly get out of hand.

For the record...I didnt complain. I was perfectly happy getting all that attention but I agree that it was kind of getting repetitive and non productive.

I only complained about the MULT. :wink:
