I wonder if any US companies encourage Canadian CDL drivers to apply for work in the USA . Is is hard to get the necessary green card or similar visa to allow a Canadian to work as a driver in the USA . Does the company help with the cost of this process?

It seems obvious to me that us drivers are earning more then Canadian drivers, so I am thinking of a USA based trucking job.
