Default usxpress plays games and their recruiters never follow up

High gang

Would advise dont waste your time with this company, and unfortunately from what I have found is generally true for most trucking companies and their recruiters. First I have been out of a truck for 3 + years and was looking to get back.I have had my CDL for 25 years 4 million plus miles accident/ DOT incident free, so i Started using google for trucking jobs and finding out the same crap. I am worse then some student that just got their CDL.
( maybe because they figure they cant lock me up in a truck for months at a time for less the minimum wage like they do for students) well CFR says companies dont need to keep records of their former drivers for more then 1 YEAR , yet every company wants 10 years of history. WTF do you do when they toss your records?
So I saw the numerous ads from USXPRESS that they would take you with driving experience in the last 5 years filled out the app, no accidents no tickets in the last 10 years ( more then their requirements)so my 1st recruiter says I was all set set up an orientation say she would call back a couple days before.( that didnt happen so I followed up,shes no longer there so I get a new recruiter they some how lost my app, so I do it all over again, ser up another orientation and another so called call back.( surprise they did not call again so I did)now I am 2 months past the initial call, they again said "You are all set" orientation comes and goes I again call back , they say I dont have the experience and it was a NO -go so they LIED to me on 3 separate occasions, they are so full of it I guess you must be a DISHONEST person to work for trucking companies. and they think drivers that have driven longer then many of these asshats have been breathing forget.
BTW I called a company I drove for 10 years ago and the same safety guy was there and remembered me and said they would be glad to take me back, told him about my lack of experience and he laughed and said " Its like riding a bike" so it all worked out its a small local company not the big dregs Like us xpress that treat you like dirt, had the exact same problem with Knight express ( they are also great for not following up and letting you hang.

wow another us xpress story almost along the same lines as mine this past 2 weeks.. My "problem" was I worked for a mega 9 years ago out of MO. Worked there 3 years, did not get fired or ever had an accident ever. Well that was my most recent experience, have more before that but those were irrelevant. Even my unemployment for the last four years was not a problem, I became the stay at home dad. Well here is what happened:
I wanted them to check that stuff before I drove the 900 miles to orientation cause i live in fl, I do not ride the bus ever, ok no problem they said. Well 4 days later, not counting sat and sun, no call back and i was supposed to leave in a couple day so i called them. O you are all set, bs, because one of my previous employers is a good friend of mine and they did not call him yet. A non driving job I had for 4 years. So I said you people need to check this stuff before I commit. An hour later my friend calls me and said it went good but said she was asking about drug testing/ and results if any (over the phone ha), which he did not do at his company, he did tell them but didn't know things like that require a release form. That was no problem good reference and verification of employment, even though it was more than three years ago. Now the drug testing results release I signed was for the previous 3 years and as far as I can tell from the actual fmcsr 3 years prior can be checked, 5 years on FAA. Thought this was strange even over the phone and no proof of release. Now how bout this< We cannot get a hold of anyone at "mega" to verify my time there or drug test info. Even though this company is the only thing on my dac and all it shows is my time of employment there, guess that wasn't good enough for them. Ok,I have tax records and settlements even logs that I still have but they didn't care about that. They wanted to TALK to someone. Cant get a hold of someone my butt, did they think I was stupid? Did the whole corporate office call in sick for four days or that day? C'mon. Were they gonna asked them over the phone about drug screens too? I guess some companies do whatever they want to do. O and we cant find a co driver for you so luckily just today they said we can hire 20 solo drivers from your area. Great that's what i wanted to do but they told me three times that was not possible. This point I was done. If they cant be straight with me now I don't want to know what happens when I work there.. Should have i expected more from recruiting, no I know better, have a good day. Go find a student who is blind to the way things work in this industry My experience. Sorry so long.

Are you through with your little foul-mouthed cyber-tantrum?? Need a couple of aspirins?? A cookie??
Is the psychiatric ward understaffed again?? Are you off your meds??

And WHERE did YOU get the notion that I'm trying to get on with Werner??
All you've succeed in doing is affirming my observations.

First I have been out of a truck for 3 + years and was looking to get back.I have had my CDL for 25 years 4 million plus miles accident/ DOT incident free, so i Started using google for trucking jobs and finding out the same crap. I am worse then some student that just got their CDL.

Sorry, Homer!! I've been an employer for too many decades. Do you really believe that you're the first driver to take a hiatus from driving?? Do you really believe that you're the fist driver to re-enter the profession after being out for a few years?? I've known more than a few who did, and they were able to resume their careers as drivers!! A few of them had to go through a refresher course and ride with a trainer for a few weeks, and get up to date in refreshing their backing skills and learning of industry and regulatory changes, but they sucked it up and did it. They're back in the game, and doing just fine.

As for 4 million (plus) miles in 25 years?? Lets look at some basic arithmetic; NOT "MATHEMATICS", I said "ARITHMETIC"!!
The plausibility of your claims would require you to drive an average of over 160,000 (solo) miles per year, every year, for 25 years.
That requires an average of over 3,000 (solo) miles per week, every week, 52 weeks per year, every year, for 25 years.

Not completely impossible, but highly unlikely. Now, I'm sure you'll respond by telling us that you did some team driving?? Or, that you were a trainer, and you're counting your trainees miles as your own??

Okay!! I could buy those scenarios, except for the fact that those situations would severely skews your [B][I]"4 million plus miles in 25 years" claim. In any event, with your attitude and your crass demeanor, no team driver would put up with you for very long; nor would any employer.

In any event, if you could support your claims with credible, verifiable documentation, you wouldn't be on the outside, looking in.......
...... Unless there are some things you're not telling us!!

Did your three year hiatus from trucking happen to involve an rather sudden, unexpected career change related to your state's criminal justice system?? Or, given your response, perhaps a rehab center, or a sanitarium??

Thank You for playing, "Shaggy0824 / Moonbatgaloop"!! Sucks to be you. The CAD Little Bus awaits you!!

Dingbat, and YOU started with the insults cant take it don't dish it , My 4 MILLION plus miles includes Personal driving,
( I guess you are too STUPID to comprehend that also) and One company I worked for I averaged over 3500 miles/week and for over 15 years, so pull out you calculator or have your mommy do the math for you.
Like I said brave little COWARDS like you hide behind your computers and judge/insult, you would never have the balls to do it to someones face . as for me and shaggy be the same NICE TRY, Having SERVED I have "HONOR ' ( google that term ) and DON'T LIE

BTW I have LOTS of Friends do you ? I find brave little cowards like you that insult others behind computers have none beyond their electronic friends, and the only sex they get is from mary palm and her 5 sisters. Okay, Super Trucker!!

So now, you're counting automobile mileage into your illustrious accomplishments as a professional driver?? Why not count skate board miles and miles driven in the video arcade race cars at the truck stop as well??
Twenty five years of driving experience, (closer to thirty years, counting skate board and video arcade race car miles) FOUR MILLION (PLUS) MILES under your belt, (closer to FIVE MILLION PLUS MILES (PLUS) if you add skate board miles and miles driven in the video arcade race cars!!)
Now, I suppose you'll want to log your late night munchies runs to Jack In The Box, and turn in your receipts as trip tickets as part of your qualifications as well??

And during your 15 years of driving 3500 miles each week, you were hauling........ what??
No, wait...... Don't tell me......Let me guess..... PING PONG BALLS with your chromed out black triple digit KW9000 with chicken lights and train horns??........ Oh, and let's not forget the sharks teeth over the grill!!.....

Or, were you hauling Top Secret Classified Freight for The CIA on a dedicated run from White Sands Missile Range, to Roswell, New Mexico and from there to Area 51, and then back to White Sands Missile Range, all under the escort of The Federal Marshall, with black helicopters circling in the sky every mile of the way?? Oh, and don't leave out the part about how two guys from Delta Forces (one armed with an M240B machine gun, the other with a grenade launcher and a bazooka) rode in the cab with you.

C'mon, Rambo!! I'm just waiting to hear about how the DOT Cops came chasing after you, disco lights flashing and sirens wailing, and how you just gave 'em the finger and kept on rolling!!

All of that, and you've come here to whine about not being able to get on with a dime a dozen McMega carrier like U.S. Express?? Why would such a highly experienced Super Trucker like you set his sights so low??

.......... Unless, of course, U.S. Express delivers to Jack In The Box!!

I guess you're next line will be that you were too overqualified for them.

Seriously, Homer!! There isn't a truck stop in America that isn't filled with FOUR MILLION MILE PLUS Super Truckin' Rambo's like you...... a few of them may even drive for U.S. Express!! Please keep posting, though. What you lack in credibility, you more than make up for in entertainment value!!

Once again, "Shaggy0824 / Moonbatgaloop", thank you for playing!! Still sucks to be you!! The CAD little bus (driven by the Federal Marshall and escorted by drones) is still waiting!!
