Default Wood Chip Hauling.....

I was wondering if anyone knows of any wood chip hauling companies that are hiring around the sacramento ca. area? Been considering moving back home closer to my family and I know that they have a lot of lumber and different products like that up there, any info or websites is appreciated thanks.

TruckerChris would be someone to check with. He did some wood chip hauling out there. He's got his own little blog site:

Call Erv Bettendorf- I think they do most of SPI's hauling now & SPI is about the only lumber co. still running. Devine may also still have some chip trucks. Anything to do with lumber now is almost extinct. It's a really tough time.

Another would be Robinson Enterprises out of Nevada City, but if your in the Sac area then its quite a drive. Smaller outfit but I haven't really seen many of their trucks running lately, but then again I haven't been out working to see them either. It's a long shot but might be worth a call.
