I contacted the recruiter, and verified that it was Exxon, in Irving, TX.
I'm going to stay with my company, but I thought that someone might be able to use this info for a job.....Who knows.
Good Luck.

In case you live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, this is a good time to apply for this job if you wanted to yank a tank.

It's a great gig to all that can use it. I come close to it, and I don't have to drive 45 miles to get there. If I lived in Dallas, I would jump at the chance.
And Exxon is across the nation. If they are hiring in Irving, chances are that an Exxon near you is hiring as well. Doesn't hurt to call that recruiter.
Just a thought.

I'm pretty happy where I am now. Plus, I probably wouldn't meet their experience requirements. But that is some nice pay. I bet the bennies are top notch as they are the most profitable company in the world.
If I were an experienced driver with X endorsement I would be calling that recruiter for sure!

I was just looking through lots of old threads that I participated in and came across this one.
An update 9+ yrs later...
A - I moved to Irving about 15 months after this post.
B - I started fuel hauling about 3 1/2 yrs ago.
C - I pull loads out of Exxon almost daily ~ 2 loads today.
D - Exxon no longer has company drivers.
E - I get paid by the load, not hourly, but it calculates up to higher than $21.10/hr.

Hauling fuel is a dangerous job, but looking through old posts one has committed takes some real guts!
Glad this story has a happy ending. You don't have to go too deep into my archives here, to need a plunger, goggles and a shower cap.
