Bigfoot, real or fake?
Research has gone beyond the groups combing the forests in search of getting pictures of the elusive creature. Theories abound. But, from time to time, there is just a bit of hard evidence that does not get a lot of exposure.
One of the biggest issues for those that believe it's all a series of hoaxes, is the lack of creatures physical remains of creatures that have died. One of the things one might keep in mind is the "Bili Ape" which was rumored to exist for more than a century, yet the human-sized, 300 pound chimp was not actually discovered until 2007, and very little is known about them as yet. One of the instincts seems to be, to avoid contact with humans. For the theory that they are survivors from hundreds of thousands of years ago, a human ancestor, is the idea that nothing outside of Noah and his family survived the Great Flood that covered the entire earth.
Along with casts of footprints that a hoaxter would not likely have thought of, there are also samples of hair that do not fit any known animal on this earth. In the northwest, among native Americans, there are rumors of women that have given birth to children that were fathered by Bigfoot, and those children have a problem learning the language. There is also a report coming out of Russia of an army general with troops that got word of a group of rebels holed up in a cave, back in 1925. When they got to the cave, there was movement inside. After all the gunfire was over, they found only one occupant in the cave, and he appeared to be Neanderthal... He was not a rebel.
So, the theories range from one of our "hominid" ancestors that survived, crossed the Bearing Land Bridge into the western hemisphere and is being very illusive around humans. Some type of ape that has not yet been discovered. Or, among the tribes of native Americans, the young "shamans" are going to live in the forest, away from any other human contact, for ten years. After a couple of years, the hair would have grown out and would be a mess. Perhaps, they are covering their bodies with a type of moss to keep warm. (The main problem with this theory is that the footprints would not be any larger than a normal human.)
So, what do you think?
