I have 2... Am amethyst lily in memory of my Mother, and a half of a heart with MY initials in it.

I have seven. Six of them I did myself.

That's cool Ceb. I still haven't decided what to get to honor my brother. He had 2 tats, an Airborn Ranger insignia and Boo Boo Bear sitting on top of the World. (Boo Boo was a nickname when he was a kid.)

The unit I was in back in the Navy said "NO TATOOS, SCARS, OR MARKINGS OF ANY KIND". Ever since, I simply never did it. So today, I still have none. Have gotten a few scars, but they're about 40 years old... Do they count for anything?

I've never felt the urge to get one . . . but then I'm just starting into my trucking career. Things could change.

I got this scar when I was three years old showing off for the girl next door
On my tricycle
And the one over my eye, well I got that back in 82 jumpin off the train
Tressel bridge

I've got five (and there will be more).

I got one...right shoulder-it's a black panther ripping thru my skin from within.

Like Windy...no tats...but lots of scars. Some are visible, that I can't cover up.
Two long knife wounds across my right cheek, you would notice first.

I'll never get a tat, but if I were...considering my personality...it would have to have some humor about it. :lol:

I have one - it's on my left hip/lower left back, right above my "cheek". The symbol (chinese) for "Beautiful". My little sister and I both got one at the same time after we became moms because being a mom is beautiful!

i cannot wait for the pain i'll be enduring for the phoenix. i won't be looking forward to feeling it. sometimes i wish i could just go get a tattoo while being loaded on pain killers.

My right arm is sleeved for my friends I left in the desert, the gargoyle was ancient mythology for watching over the dead, the city is Bagdhad (or an friends rendering of it) and the rest just kinda falls into place and is self explanatory.

I also have my dog tags on my left rib cage, a USMC on my left bicep, above it a skull with a dagger through it's eye that says "death before dishonor", my back is covered in a celtic cross, and my stomach has "UNFORGIVEN" covering it in old english.
