Just wondering what jobs other people were doing before getting into a truck. I worked on ranches, worked at the feed store, and rode bulls.

4th officer m.v cotinga.

Farming, Pearl Diver (dishwasher), Construction, Fire/Rescue.

farmer's son, soldier, boatbuilder, sailboat bum, oil&gas exploration, student, real estate, irrigation, etc.

I did farming, and I still work part-time farm work on the weekends, etc.

6 years at a grocery store(1991-1997) then started at Allied Van Lines as a helper(at 23) and was taught to drive by them.

College grad, claims adjuster, insurance agent.

10 yrs in Jiffy Lube. 8 as a manager and 2 as a district manager. Burnt out!!!!

Currently a Plastics Engineer – Burnt out - Will be driving a truck in 2008 if all goes well.

Like plastic explosives or what exactly? Sounds cool. Burnt out is that a play on plastics?
