haha..... hit the nail right on the head!!!! I was thinking the same thing, for every married driver out on the road there is a spouse at home.

True, I don't know what the wife is doing at home so it is possible that they have a open relationship for all I know! I phased the question above the way I did because there are more men on this site then women.

When I told my mom about the trainer she said, "I hope Jeff doesn't turn into a cheater." I said he wouldn't because cheaters cheat no matter what profession they are in. I would have to say in some ways with trucking it is just more talked about.

You seem to be playing a little fast a loose with the wording here. You first aim the question at the drivers and now when I bring up the fact that its a two way street you single out this one wife and do not use the term wives. Wives are JUST as able and even more so to cheat on their trucking husbands. This is a double edged sword. Just as there is no way to tell if your husband is going to cheat, there is also no way that he can predict if YOU are going to cheat. A lot of these stories out there are just plain bogus! There are men and women who constant claim that they are involved in sex 24/7, they irritate me almost as much as the truckstop preachers...

I was talking about one specific relationship that involved a truck driver and his wife. I do not know the couple well enough to determine what she is doing while he is away. I am sure there are wives that cheat too. In fact Jeff's first trainers girlfriend had a man that was staying with her through the week when he was gone.

I know for a fact that I will not cheat. I would never disrespect my husband that way. When I married him I took vows and I will not break them! This is something we have talked about through out our marriage. Cheating is a deal breaker for either of us. My husband says that he has a hard enough time keeping me happy so why would he want another woman. lol

I look at my relationship with the wife like I look at motorcycles.
I may look at motorcycles, may drool over motorcycles, may look at pictures of motorcycles, may want that motorcycle...............but I always come home to ride the one I love best.

Besides I cant afford another motorcycle, and a ex-motorcycle so it comes down to dollars and "SENSE"

Not exactly true. I have NEVER cheated on my wife, even though there were a couple of ocassions when she suggested I should. And, I've had many oppurtunities.

Just because you are on a diet doesn't mean you can't look at the menu. The main thing is to only look. When you marry you make a commitment to your spouse - to me that's a very important thing. My wife happens to be the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm really fortunate to realize it on my own (although she has been known to remind me of that fact quite often).
