CAD Espanol Poll

We have recieved emails from some of our more "open minded" site visitors concerning our decision to translate our website for Hispanic Drivers.

I would like to know your opinion of our translated website. Please take the time to share your opinions.

I can't read or speak spanish so therefore it doesn't matter to me personally.

From a business stand point it probably makes sense as we have in increase in spanish speaking individuals.

This IS the United States Beetle

If we were to go to their country it would be expected that we learn their language, so what is the difference? Sorry, I think people need to learn our language at least enough to read it, geez.

icedad 09-02-2005 11:28 PM

Why discriminate against the Polish speaking drivers and how about the Russians? How about me? I'm German and speak the language.
I give these guys some credit, at least the majority of European immigrants make an attempt to learn the international language of business. English. Whats next? Spanish road maps for travel in the United States??
Too lazy to go to night school for free and learn our language, we shouldn't have to cater to people who are too lazy to learn the language.

Cut off all financial aid to illegal immigrants and we would have more money for alot of beneficial things like hurricane aid!

My take.

I have to agree. This is the USA and the language here is english. If they dont want to learn it. Then that is just to bad.

According to the e mail I received you have already done it for the 500,000 hispanic drivers out there. Why even bother to ask us our opinion? Dated Sept. 1 and this post is dated sept 2.

Introducing ClassADrivers.com Espa?ol.

C.A.D. Enterprises LLC and ClassADrivers.com are proud to announce the launch of our driver recruiting website translated for the nearly 500,000 Hispanic Drivers on the road in the United States. We are launching this website in conjunction with GATS.

In order to reach the growing Hispanic Driver market, we have translated ClassADrivers.com so that we can present job opportunities to the Hispanic Drivers in a format that will be easier for them to navigate.

Hispanic Drivers are required to be able to read and speak English in order to obtain a CDL in The United States.

Even though a Hispanic Driver may be fluent in English, some find that they would be more comfortable navigating our website translated into Spanish.

Many drivers have asked why so many companies are catering to the Hispanic population versus other nationalities.

The simplest answer is that The United States shares a border with Mexico versus other countries. It would not make as much sense to translate the site into Chinese or Russian as the borders are considerably further apart.

By providing ClassADrivers.com/Espanol/, we are providing a vehicle by which the Hispanic Drivers can make more informed decisions affecting their career decisions.

We will be featuring all of our current recruiting clients on ClassADrivers.com/Espanol/ free until October 1 2005. After 10-1-2005, we will only be presenting companies that have elected to be featured on ClassADrivers.com/Espanol/.

Our clients who elect to be featured on ClassADrivers.com/Espanol/ will have the option to leave their company comments on their profile sheet and their job postings in English or;

1. Have their company specific comments and job postings translated into Spanish then provided to us for uploading.

2. Have ClassADrivers.com provide professional translation services for company specifics and job postings for a set fee.

We are also in the process of translating OwnerOperatorJob.com and should have it done in about 2 weeks.

For more information concerning ClassADrivers.com/Espanol, or to make comments, please contact us through our online contact form located at Contact CAD

The way I see it it that here soon it will be almost all hispanics. Why cause they will take that cheap frieght that everyone else doesnt want to take and some of the O/O will be out of business cause of that cause O/O wont take that and they will not too mention but you can work them like a dog and they will still work cheap. While others want more pay they will be taking that cheap pay and causing our nation to fall.

I agree with formertrucker about "The way I see it it that here soon it will be almost all Hispanics. Why cause they will take that cheap freight that everyone else doesn't want to take and some of the O/O will be out of business cause of that cause O/O wont take that and they will not too mention but you can work them like a dog and they will still work cheap. Yes this is America, but here foreigners get treated better than we do. They get so much for free and we "if you work" get no help, unless its from your unemployment (which as an American who has worked, you are in titled). No work, no unemployment. Has anyone tried to get disability, or God forbid any kind of help from DSS. Mexicans and others, not just non Americans get plenty of free assistance. Remember it was our own President who stated our social security was in trouble, but regardless the war goes on, then the misfortune of a few hurricanes, wild fires, floods in the N.E. and now the earth quake and relief money is there, but what's the only way you can ever get any help. Most of them don't even have to ask. There's the situation with illegal aliens and talk of giving them a bank account....illegally here and help them get on our welfare system.
Now, they are driving trucks, hauling loads of whatever for cheap hourly or load pay. How will the o/o's who own or are making payments to own with all the overhead ever hope for better...or decent pay when companies have these folks to turn to and those who have raked and scraped for years to get by and some who have finally been able to get their heads above water and pushing for better pay per load or hourly rates ever hope to get anywhere. The government needs to remember charity starts at home... here with "us" Americans, the backbone of this nation.....no its not them, its us!
