Most carriers only go back 3 years on DAC or MVR. I doubt if the rollover will show up on either. Carriers must collect a 10 year work history from potential drivers. I would not lie on the application, if asked. However, it has been long enough that it should not pose a problem for you, depending on the nature of the rollover and reason. If physical injury or death occurred due to the rollover, it might get closer scrutiny. Remember, each company is different and make their own policies concerning hiring. If you have been away from driving for that many years, you will most likely have to take a refresher course prior to being hired or work with a trainer for a short time. That will probably cause you more problems than the rollover at this point. My suggestion would be to get on the phone and talk to some carriers that you are interested in working. You can also fill out applications online.
